Daniel Crews is a fresh voice among Christian vocalists in America. He has a unique voice that blends classical sound with contemporary appeal. Daniel’s greatest desire in ministry is to lead others in worship of our great God. His prayer is always that God would use him as an instrument to accomplish His will.
Growing up in a Christian home, Daniel has been singing in church since he was a child. He still remembers having to climb up on a chair to see over the pulpit while singing solos. Daniel has served in many aspects of the music ministry including worship leader, adult choir and praise band.
He graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in Vocal Performance in December of 2007. Upon graduation, he launched Daniel Crews Ministries providing him a platform to share the Gospel through song around the country. God has been more than faithful by allowing Daniel to sing in churches, conferences, retreats, revivals and youth camps. His audiences include: First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Florida; First Baptist Church of Atlanta, Georgia (home of the international broadcast InTouch Ministries); First Baptist Church of Woodstock, Georgia; PowerLife Youth Camps, among many others.
God also blessed Daniel in his recording efforts with five releases. His first project, Where Would I Be, was released in August of 2008 and captures the Spirit of God’s grace and faithfulness. Daniel’s sophmore project, Timeless, released in January of 2009, is a celebration of great hymns of the faith. In April of 2010, he released Daniel Crews Live, which is a compilation of the great classic ballads he has performed with First Baptist Church of Atlanta’s and First Baptist Church of Jacksonville’s choir and orchestra. Blessed was released in June of 2011 and is a reflection of God’s blessings and mercy also featuring two songs written by Daniel. His newest release in October of 2012, Gift of Love, is a great collection of new and old Christmas favorites sure to put anyone in the Christmas spirit.
Beginning January of 2011, Daniel moved to Atlanta to serve as Resident Artist for First Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Stanley. Daniel is committed to sing at FBC of Atlanta once a month and at any other special events or concerts the church may host. Dr. Stanley and InTouch Ministries reaches millions of households around the world, and Daniel is thankful to be a frequent guest artist for this incredible ministry.
Daniel’s wife, Angelia, travels with him everywhere he goes. She runs sound and handles all of the booking and office administration. Daniel and Angelia reside in Mableton, GA with their daughter, Emma Kate.
